The waiting time to talk to someone is always longer than an hour at any time of the day, unless they just cut you off. It could literally ruin our lives as prices go up and down, and we always have builders knocking on the door and needing payment. For months and no response on the portal to understand why they do not process it or contact us, although we have written that we want to file a formal complaint. PLEASE stay away!!!!!!! You really have to think long and hard about using these guys.
Social workers refuse to answer calls, customer services “if you can call it that” refuse to provide email addresses to social workers. They always apologize for how Covid limits their ability to work and makes things longer (come on, guys; it`s just a bad excuse and obviously wrong on every level). I asked the same thing 3 times in 3 weeks to the “invisible” social worker and STILL no answer. No phone calls, and more importantly, the request has STILL not been processed. Currently still “hold” after 35 minutes of trying to pass. His service was shockingly poor. 2 months are now pending the mortgage. They had everything they needed, but sat on it until the redemption numbers ran out. 3 times the exchange numbers were sent and kept sitting down until they came out again! No completion date has yet !!! Evil lawyers for something as quick and easy as a mortgage. Incompetent and unprofessional service. It`s another month before they say they`re getting new redemption numbers (but they`ve actually had them for weeks, but they`ve sat on them). The other figure of redemption will come out and go around in circles in a circle where we will go… completely stressed and I have PTSD!!! Stressed and angry beyond words. The whole experience from start to finish seemed less and went very well, lots of updates. Excellent service. The worst service I`ve ever received from a company, not just lawyers. I asked them to make a net worth and mortgage transfer on my property, it took over 4 months instead of the planned 4-6 weeks! The only reason I managed to close before my mortgage offer expired was because I was spamming the portal mailbox with 60 messages a day. I downloaded all my documents on time, but they don`t do anything with them unless you pursue them.
They would ignore messages on the portal for weeks and refuse to take calls, as others have also written in reviews. If they answered on the portal, the matter still wouldn`t really progress, they would find general excuses, and ignore my questions about what the status quo is. I had to remind them that this was not a favor they had done me, but actually a service I paid for, so I don`t expect to wait 3 weeks for a reply to a message. I`m a pretty close person, but after the experience I had with Optima, I would recommend spending more money and hiring a competent lawyer instead. If you have the same problems, the only thing I can suggest is to notify them relentlessly and be a nuisance, because they certainly will not work on the matter if they are left to their own devices. Never use this company if you can avoid it. Building societies and banks should stop using them if they value their customers. They made a mistake to take out my mortgage and everything could fall by now. Unable to reach someone who helps – the construction company does not pass either. Your portal is confusing and inaccurate. You don`t want to end up in that situation.
